Mary Flerchinger
I was born in Lewiston, Idaho, in February of 1949. Most of my childhood was spent in Wisconsin on a Dairy Farm. I returned to Lewiston in 1969 as a young lady and met and married my farmer/rancher, Steve in 1971. We have four children 2 sons, and 2 daughters. I still live on the ranch in Peola, with my husband where we continue to farm and ranch. This beautiful mountain country with all its animals is my inspiration for painting, I am a mostly self taught artist, but take classes myself and enjoy teaching art. I like painting deer, elk, moose, and other wild animals, but by far my favorite animal to paint is the horse. I own four horses, and rnjoy riding the hills and tending cattle. I enjoy painting with oil and acrylics, and I try to dabble watercolors. Commissions are welcome. I have been painting off and on for 35 years but in earnest since 2008.
